Professor Kathleen Eisenhardt’s recent book (w/Don Sull) is called “Simple Rules: How to Survive in a Complex World” (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt) which explores how simplicity tames complexity in business, life, and nature.
She is also co-author (w/Shona Brown) of “Competing on the Edge: Strategy as Structured” Chaos (Harvard Business School Press), winner of the George R. Terry Book Award for outstanding contribution to management thinking and an Amazon Top 10 Annual Business and Investing book.
Professor Eisenhardt is also author of over 100 articles in research and business journals, and the first author featured in Harvard Business Review’s OnPoint collection. She has been a Distinguished Visiting Professor with Insead’s Entrepreneurship and Family Enterprise area.

Professor Claus Rerup is Vice President of Academic Affairs at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management since 2021. His expertise includes routine dynamics, sensemaking, and organizational learning. He has published in leading journals.
He obtained his PhD from Aarhus University, Denmark, and completed Visiting Scholar positions at Stanford University and University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, and a Post Doc Research Fellowship at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Claus Rerup‘s teaching has been recognized by several awards, including the 2019 “Award for Outstanding Teaching Performance“ at Frankfurt School.

Pierre Batteau is professor emeritus at Aix-Marseille University. His main specialty is finance (and in particular risk models) which he taught for 40 years, in France and in several foreign countries, while directing around thirty theses in this specialty in France and abroad. and by sitting on a hundred juries. In 2021 he still teaches this discipline every year in a master’s degree from the Sorbonne in Abu Dhabi.
